Established
in 1999, Crest Natural Resources (CNR), a subsidiary of
Crest Industries,
LLC, is a long-term, family owned timber company. We currently
own approximately 80,000 acres of timberland throughout
Louisiana and East Texas. As a timber company, we strive
to use the most advanced technology in all of our forestry
operations; therefore achieving maximum growth in a manner
that least effects our environment. Crest Natural Resources
is aggressively searching to purchase more acreage in our
operating area. Crest Natural Resources currently employs three
graduate foresters that oversee the management of our land
and acquisitions of new land. Crest Natural Resources uses
advanced reforestation techniques to maximize return without
harming the environment around us. We use site-preparation
techniques such as "ripping and bedding", burning, and chemical
site prep. We are also currently using the most advanced
GIS and GPS utilities to manage our forests.
